New Tax Filing Requirements
California recently enacted Senate Bill 1827, the "State Income Tax Equity Act", which requires that all California Domestic Partners begin fililing their state income tax return in accordance with the same guidelines used by married persons. This law applies to income tax returns starting in fiscal year 2007.
