Jim Sparkman, CPA
Jim, a partner of the firm, focuses on closely held businesses, real estate, development management and distribution. His tax emphases is with IRS resolution, trusts and estates. His audit experience is in service and construction companies. He also provides temporary controllership for various local firms. In addition to his duties with Sparkman & Waterman, Jim serves on the Board of Directors of EZ Solutions Inc., Be Encourged International (a not for profit) and The Exploration Center.

Rich Waterman, CPA
Rich, a partner of the firm, graduated from UCLA in 1983 and, in addition, has a Master's Degree in Accounting from San Jose State University. He has broad business, accounting and finance experience. His tax expertise includes partnerships, small business formations, domestic partnerships and trust and estate planning. He is currently serving serving as a commissioner on the City of Campbell Parks and Recreation Commission, he is a board member for the Campbell Chamber of Commerce, and he is an appointed member of the IRS Taxpayer Advocacy Panel.

Naseem Punnilath
Naseem has over 11 years of experience, with 3 years experience in public accounting in India. Her area of expertise include international tax issues, accounting, taxation of high tech corporations, stock option planning, and individual taxation and planning. In addition, Naseem is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India. Naseem received her bachelors degree from Bangalore University, India, and has completed course work toward her master's degree in Taxation at San Jose State University.

Bruce Scholes, Bookkeeper
Bruce is our QuickBooks ProAdvisor certified bookkeeper. He has a broad range of accounting and bookkeeping experience, and has performed accounting operations at iBizLogic, Cypress Semiconductor and Western Medical Center. His expertise includes bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Suzan Carr, Office Manager
Before joining our team, Suzan worked for a large insurance company in the audit department, and has a background in training and development, publication design and technical illustration for high-tech businesses.
